We embarked on another 10 miler to the heavenly place called the Little Lakes Valley.

We took this hike 6 years ago and always wanted to come back to. The boys were little back then and they didn’t remember much about it.

Just a short drive south from the Mammoth Lakes, this is one of my favorite trails in the Eastern Sierra. The trail starts at 10k ft elevation, so you definitely would feel the thin air, but the altitude adds to the beauty of this region where the lakes are pristine and the peaks are tall!

So many memories came back when we hiked here this time around!
