We spent about 3 miles hiking around Arenal Volcano National Park. The geographically diverse terrain including some lava rocks and lush forests were amazing. We saw some wildlife, but the views of the volcano was obstructed by clouds. We were able to see beautiful Arenal Lake from the top.

Our stay near La Fortuna at Tabacon thermal resort and spa was just amazing! The beautiful grounds of the property is just nice to walk around at.

The thermal spa consisted of naturally flowing hot springs in the natural rainforests within the private property. This was great hydrotherapy with the perfectly warm temperatures in the water rich with natural minerals. This was hands down one of the best relaxing spas I have been to! The food at all the restaurants had nicely balanced healthy and delicious options.
