~8 mille trail starting from Clayton

We did this trail in April, hoping to see some waterfalls. There were some thin trickling water areas but nothing sort of waterfall due to the drought this year. Although it was end of the season, there were still some wildflowers left!

We still enjoyed the trail, it’s fairly long moderate hike, with some gravels and switchbacks. It was mostly exposed and it’s best to start early to avoid the heat.

We will return next year if there is a good amount of rainfall.
