Annual winter visits to the Lake Tahoe brings us closer to the snow! Snowboarding, relaxing, early morning walks to the lake, looking at the clear blue water are some of my favorite winter activities in Lake Tahoe.

We found this gem place called Franciscan Lodge in Tahoe Vista, which offers cozy lakefront cottages. Our two bedroom cottage was equipped with full kitchen and a fireplace. A perfect weekend getaway included a day in the snow, followed by hot chocolate by the fireplace, a warm home-cooked meal accompanied with a cabernet, late night family games and endless laughter and the early morning walk to the lake…
