Tennessee Valley Trail

9/15/19

We all have a friend or family member who doesn’t like to hike. Tennessee Valley Trail near Sausalito is perfect for those friends and family members.

A mostly flat 3.5-mile trail leads to a stunning dark sand beach. There is another steep trail leading up to the lookout. The lookout offers bird’s eye views of the Pacific Ocean panorama. It’s totally worth climbing up for the views.

The area is always covered with this mysterious fog. The trail was filled with soothing aroma from the Eucalyptus trees lined around it. There is also another longer (~8.5 miles RT) trail goes all the way to Muir Beach.

All in all, we all enjoyed this walk, it’s definitely one of those we will come back to.
