The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is one of the most impressive examples of the Incas road work built over 500 years ago. Hiking on this trail took us back in time as we traveled through the heights of the Andes mountains and finished in the Amazon rain-forests encountering Inca tunnels, bridges and some of the most amazing Inca sites along the way! We ended our journey by hiking to the top of Wayna Picchu for panoramic view of the Machu Picchu site.
Hiking to the `dead woman’s pass’ on Day 2 was a good endurance test!
