I am not going to lie but riding the sand dunes at Oregon coast turned out to be a really fun experience.

I had ridden an ATV before and was not too excited about it, but riding it on the sand dunes was a lot more fun than my previous experience of riding it in uneven terrain.

Kids definitely had a blast. I was a bit slow catching it in the beginning but got a hang od it later. I still want not a speed rider like the kids. But it definitely was a fun family experience regardless.

We used Torex ATV rentals they were super nice, we couldn’t get earlier reservations, so they gave us sandboards to ride on while we waited for our turn. Sandboarding actually was a lot of fun too.

I highly recommend this if you are looking for a family fun activity!
