A Perfect Day on the Skyline Loop

Wow, what a day! Hiking the Skyline Loop in the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park was pure magic. We hit the trail on a sunny morning, with a brilliant blue sky overhead and those picture-perfect fluffy white clouds making an appearance.

As we made our way along the path, we were greeted by stunning waterfalls cascading down rocky cliffs, their sounds blending beautifully with the gentle rustling of the trees. The wildflowers were in full bloom, vibrant – looking like confetti. It was hard not to stop and take photos every few steps!

And most stunning area where we were in front of the glacier – the views were breathtaking! Standing there with the majesty of Mount Rainier looming above us was a reminder of how small we can feel in the great outdoors.

Overall, the Skyline Loop hike was everything I hoped for and more. If you ever find yourself in the area, don’t miss out on this gorgeous trail!

Accommodation: We stayed Alexander Lodge in Ashford, charming B&B perfectly located just outside the paradise area and had dinner right across the street from the lodge at Wildberry Himalayan Restaurant – great food choices and services.
